📜 Course Description
The Witch’s Runes are a modern set of divinatory symbols, used for insight, guidance, and connection with the unseen. This course, guided by Elder High Priestess Wort Moon, introduces students to the history, symbolism, and practice of rune casting. Students will learn how to craft their own set of runes, prepare them for ritual use, and practice different casting methods to develop intuition and deepen spiritual connection.
✨ By the end of the course, students will:
Describe the history and origins of the Witch’s Runes.
Identify and interpret the meanings of each symbol.
Create their own set of runes with intention and magickal purpose.
Prepare their runes for ritual and divinatory work.
Use various casting spreads and intuitive methods for divination.
Develop a personal practice with the Witch’s Runes as a tool for spiritual growth.

To complete this course, you will need a few simple materials.
Notebook or Journal – for recording rune meanings, castings, and reflections.
Crafting Materials (for making your own set of runes):
Small pieces of wood, stone, clay, or bone
Paint, markers, or carving/burning tools for inscribing symbols
A small bag, pouch, or box to store your runes
Cleansing Tools (for preparation and consecration):
Incense or herbs for smoke cleansing
A small bowl of water or saltwater (if appropriate for your rune material)
A candle for fire element charging
A little salt, earth, or stone for grounding
Casting Cloth or Mat (optional) – a clean cloth or surface to cast your runes onto.
This course includes a variety of thoughtfully crafted assignments to help you integrate and apply what you’ve learned.
Assignments are submitted through the Canvas platform and are evaluated based on:
Clarity of expression
Creativity and originality
Understanding of the material
Sincere effort and engagement
