In this sacred course, we enter the grove of the Ogham — the ancient arboreal script of the Celtic lands, whispered through wind and etched in stone. More than an alphabet, the Ogham is a living bridge between the visible and the unseen, where each tree carries myth, medicine, and mystery.
You do not need to be a scholar of the druids or a seasoned diviner — only a soul willing to listen, to root, and to open. Together, we will explore the Ogham not only as a linguistic relic, but as a spiritual tool for connection, divination, and personal revelation.
Through stories, symbols, intuitive practices, and communion with the spirits of the trees, you will learn to hear what the forest has always been saying: that every branch is a message, and every root, a path.
✨ By the end of the course, students will:
Understand the historical, linguistic, and mythic roots of the Ogham alphabet, including its origin in early Irish culture and bardic tradition.
Recognise and interpret all 20 core Ogham glyphs (and the 5 Forfeda), along with their associated trees, meanings, and seasonal or symbolic qualities.
Work with the Ogham both practically and intuitively, blending academic insight with animist and divinatory approaches.
Develop a personal relationship with specific trees through guided meditations, offerings, journaling, and nature-based practices.
Construct and consecrate an Ogham set, learning traditional and modern methods of divination including single-stave pulls, casting, and intuitive layouts.
Create original rituals, charms, and readings using Ogham glyphs in healing, spellwork, or spiritual storytelling.
Explore the use of Ogham alongside other divinatory tools, such as tarot, dreams, and omens, weaving messages across symbolic systems.
Cultivate a deepened animist awareness, honouring the trees not just as symbols but as sentient, sacred beings.
