Sacred space and altars are at the heart of ritual practice β they provide both the energetic container and the focal point of meaning within ceremony. In this course, students will explore how to create, hold, and weave sacred space with intention, and how to design altars that embody symbolism, beauty, and purpose.
From elemental correspondences to seasonal expression, from devotional altars to community rituals, this course offers a deep and practical exploration of the physical and energetic foundations that support all ceremony.

Understand the purpose, energy, and boundaries of sacred space.
Learn methods of creating and holding sacred space with presence and intention.
Design altars that are symbolic, functional, and aesthetically meaningful.
Work with natural and symbolic materials, including the four elements and directions.
Explore seasonal, devotional, and celebrant-focused altar design.
Guide participant movement and interaction within sacred space and around the altar.
Integrate altar and space into a unified, living practice of ritual.
