A sigil is a type of symbol used in magick. The term has been usually employed to refer to a type of pictorial signature for a deity, angel, daemon or spirit. In modern usage, especially in the context of chaos magick, sigil refers to a symbolic representation of the practitioner's desired outcome.
Over the course of 4 lessons we shall learn how to design and construct your own sigils along with techniques for empowering and releasing them to do their work.
✨ By the end of this course, students will:
Understand the original purpose and use of sigils and how this has changed.
Be able to construct their own sigils using a variety of methods.
Know methods for charging, activating, and releasing sigils along with how to safely de-active and dispose of those they no longer require.

Optional readings and resources are listed in each lesson, but there’s no required textbook.
This course includes a variety of thoughtfully crafted assignments to help you integrate and apply what you’ve learned.
Assignments are submitted through the Canvas platform and are evaluated based on:
Clarity of expression
Creativity and originality
Understanding of the material
Sincere effort and engagement

You can expect to spend around 1–2 hours completing assignments, in addition to reading and reflection time.
