The Enchanted Moon is an Established Craft tradition. Just like other branches of initiatory witchcraft (Gardnerian, Alexandrian, Dianic, Feri or Temple Tradition for example), one cannot simply become part of our magickal family by declaring oneself a member. There is knowledge to be acquired, skills to practice and practical steps to be taken. What does set us apart from many other forms of initiatory traditions, is that we are focused on delivering a structured and progressive programme of spiritual training open to all, especially those who feel called to explore a more eclectic path.
The word eclectic simply means drawing from a variety of sources rather than following one particular way, belief or system.
As an eclectic tradition, members of the Enchanted Moon Tradition are encouraged to explore practices, beliefs and traditions from different sources, choosing those that are meaningful to them rather than adhering exclusively to one fixed way of doing things. You may find inspiration in folklore, different Pagan traditions, ceremonial practice, nature spirituality, mythology, divination, devotional practice, as well as your own lived experience.
Being eclectic does not mean being unstructured or without direction.
The Enchanted Moon's training paths are carefully thought out, progressive and purposeful. They are designed to provide meaningful opportunities for learning, personal development and spiritual growth, with clear stages and goals along the way.
In other words, your spiritual path can be your own, while your training can still have structure.
We believe these two things can exist beautifully alongside one another.
The Enchanted Moon Ordination Pathway is divided into five progressive Paths. Each represents a different stage of learning, practice, spiritual development and responsibility within the Tradition.
You do not need to know where your journey will ultimately lead when you begin. Each Path builds upon the knowledge and experience gained before it, allowing you to develop naturally as your understanding, practice and commitment deepen.
Beginning your journey as a Dedicate
Dedication means that you have made a firm commitment to yourself to study and practise the Craft for a set period of time, usually a year-and-a-day. During this time, you will learn the foundations of the Craft, begin regularly practising essential skills and explore different approaches to discover what works — and what does not work — for you. The Path of Earth is about building strong foundations, developing a regular practice and beginning to understand where your own spiritual journey may lead.
Becoming part of the Enchanted Moon priesthood
The Path of Fire marks a deeper commitment to the Craft and to your continuing spiritual development as a member of our priesthood. Through initiation, you move beyond foundational study and begin exploring the mysteries, responsibilities and deeper practices of the Enchanted Moon Tradition. This Path focuses on developing greater confidence, practical ability and spiritual awareness while beginning to understand what it means to belong to — and contribute to — a living Craft tradition.
Note: You get to choose your preferred title, whether that be Priest, Priestess or Priestix.
Taking responsibility for your own learning and developing mastery in your chosen field
The Path of Air marks the journey into the High Priesthood of the Enchanted Moon Tradition. Unlike many initiatory traditions, becoming a member of the High Priesthood does not mean that you must become a coven leader or take responsibility for running a group. Instead, the emphasis is on taking responsibility for your own continued learning and spiritual development.
Those beginning this Path choose a specialist Mastery Stream in an area that calls to them, allowing them to expand their knowledge, develop advanced skills and deepen their own Craft. Mastery Streams include Magick, Divination, Healing, Ritual & Ceremonial Arts, Devotional Work, the Liminal Arts and Greencraft.
Once a Mastery title has been attained, there is no need to stop there. Those who wish to continue can undertake additional Mastery Streams, allowing them to develop advanced knowledge and expertise across several areas of study.
Preparing for leadership and the responsibilities of training others
The Path of Water is concerned with the responsibilities that come with becoming a leader within a Craft community. Students develop the practical, spiritual and interpersonal skills required to support others, facilitate ritual and create a safe, welcoming and meaningful environment for a coven or other spiritual community. This Path is about learning that leadership is not simply about authority or title, but about service, responsibility, compassion and the ability to help others grow.
Stepping fully into your calling
The Path of Spirit represents the culmination of the Ordination Pathway and the point at which a student's years of study, practice, service and personal development come together. This Path explores what it means to carry the responsibilities of ordained Priesthood within the Enchanted Moon Tradition, including mentorship, teaching, spiritual stewardship and helping to shape the future of the Craft. It is not simply the attainment of the title "Elder", but a recognition of the commitment, experience and service that have brought you to this point.

"I actually do feel like I am finally growing, progressing and getting results"
"I never imagined I could feel this connected to a tradition without being in an actual real life coven. The guidance and personal mentorship changed everything for me and I actually do feel like I am finally growing, progressing and getting results. I would highly recommend your training to others who are starting out, or who, like me, spent a good few years trying to go it alone without really getting to where I wanted to be."

"The lessons are practical, inspiring, and deeply empowering."
"The Path of Earth gave me structure and clarity I had never experienced in my solitary practice. The lessons are practical, inspiring, and deeply empowering. I’ve gained confidence, new skills, and a real sense of connection to a living tradition — all from the comfort of my own home."
Stacey, Canada
"The mentorship, feedback, and supportive community made all the difference"
"I was hesitant at first, worried that online training couldn’t compare to a real-life coven experience. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The mentorship, feedback, and supportive community made all the difference. Every module built on the last, and I genuinely feel that I’m evolving spiritually and magically in ways I didn’t think possible."
