There are a lot of perks to being a magickal practitioner. You have a stronger intuition, a higher sensitivity to the energy around you, and a sense of empowerment over your life. However, magick also has some disadvantages. Indeed, being more sensitive to energy makes you more vulnerable to the negativity around you. On top of this, a spell can always backfire and attract unwelcome energy into your home. For those reasons, your home needs protection. Remember that prevention is better than cure. A good ward will keep your house protected and safe, saving you a lot of trouble. Believe me, setting up a few protection measures now is way easier than dealing with problems once they occur. 

This  course looks at the challenges and types of negative energy we face and ways in which to prevent problems manifesting. We also look at some advanced cleansing and warding techniques to deal with those extra stubborn and often scary unwanted energies that sometimes haunt our homes. You will be guided on how to adopt a regular cleansing and protection practice that  suits your needs and is easy to maintain, ensuring your home remains a safe and welcoming environment.

By the end of this course, students will:

• understand how various different types of living accommodation and set-ups affect the choice and methods of protection measures.

• know what a ward is, and how to create and maintain a variety of wards using different methods.

• understand how to work with household guardians and maintain harmonious relationships through offerings & devotional work.

• create a regular cleansing and protection regime to suit their lifestyle, preferences & needs.

Assessment & Accreditation

This course has been graded as having a 'moderate' coursework load. You will be expected to undertake a practical task and submit a short written assignment. There are also a couple of short surveys to complete in order to help us improve our service, and ensure you gain the most from the course.
